Hello all,
As we discussed and agreed to at Friday’s software meeting, I have created a new git repo called “SBS-replay” under Jefferson Lab containing ONLY the database files, replay scripts, and calibration/analysis scripts:
https://github.com/JeffersonLab/SBS-replay
It is envisioned that this repo will be the “official” location where we will host and maintain our database files, replay scripts, and calibration scripts going forward.
The initial version of this repo is basically a “clone” of SBS-offline, with all the source and build system files removed. During the transition to this new mode of operation, I will leave the database, replay, and scripts directories in SBS-offline alone, for approximately one week.
However, it is recommended that everyone start to migrate to the use of SBS-replay for your databases, replay scripts, and calibration/analysis scripts immediately. In the near future (deadline TBD), we will remove the content of SBS-replay from SBS-offline, and after the migration deadline, SBS-offline will only include the source files necessary to compile the SBS-offline shared library for data processing within the analyzer.
Sincerely,
Andrew
