Hello all,
Due to the Hall C users’ group meeting, we will not hold a general SBS software/analysis meeting this week. The purpose of this email is to announce a restructuring of the standing agenda of the meeting and circulate a Doodle Poll for a potential new meeting time. Unless there is a clearly superior alternative to the current meeting time, we will default to keeping the current meeting time of Friday, 1 PM. Please respond to this Doodle Poll at your earliest convenience:

Now that the GMN/nTPE run has concluded, it is time to partially shift the focus of our meeting to organizing and coordinating the analysis of the GMN data set toward timely publication, and to provide a forum for the regular reporting from GMN thesis students on the progress of your efforts.
Since I don’t want to run two weekly meetings dedicated to software and analysis, we will start a regular rotation of the meeting agenda among general SBS software topics and regular progress reporting of student-led GMN/nTPE analyses, as needed. The first meeting, to be held next week, will focus on the coordination of analysis tasks across subsystems and kinematics of GMN/nTPE.
I will start a new wiki page (link will be in a separate email) where we can collect and archive meeting agendas/minutes and links to slideshows and other relevant documents. The recommended procedure will be to upload presentations to the SBS DocDB and then link to them from the wiki page.
Apologies if you are receiving two copies of this email, I copied all the GMN/nTPE thesis students (as I understand them) and their advisors in case any of you are not already subscribed to sbs_software, which will be the mailing list for this purpose going forward.
Best regards,
Andrew
