Hello all,
We will hold our general SBS software meeting today at the usual time of 1 PM:
Agenda:
* To-do list: Getting the replay software ready for GEN Kin-3
* Discussion on getting high-rate helicity asymmetry monitoring up and running:
* Which channel or channels? How to do event selection? Charged pion in BigBite? Inclusive pion (simple) or exclusive gamma n • pi- p events with p also detected in HCAL (complicated)?
* Raw count asymmetries (simple) vs. beam charge and live-time corrected asymmetries (complicated)
* Toward preliminary (e,e’n) asymmetries for Kin. 2: how much statistics will need to be replayed?
* First instance of new biweekly GMN analysis meeting Thursday Nov. 10: preliminary schedule for student analysis updates
* Preliminary quasi-elastic n and p yields from GMN SBS-14 (Q2 = 7.5): Provakar
* (Time permitting): Analysis cuts and sources of GEM efficiency losses
