[Sbs_software] [EXTERNAL] GEN Analysis Question - Accidental Background

Hi All,
This is an open question for any GEN expert. We need to calculate the
accidental background contribution. For GEN-I this was done by using TOF to
calculate the velocity (beta). This is seen in my first picture below
(From_Freddy.png) taken from Freddy's thesis. In GEN-I they shift the data
away and take a cut of the events left and call this the accidental
background.
For GEN-II I am thinking that a similar concept for us is to look at the
coincidence time, and make a cut outside of the coincidence region. You can
see the red cut I made would be the region where we obtain the accidental
background events. Please let me know if anyone has other ideas or comments
on how this should be done.
