Hello all,

Thanks again to everyone for showing up and contributing to the trigger discussion. I posted the slides here: https://sbs.jlab.org/cgi-bin/DocDB/private/ShowDocument?docid=638

I also added a link to the slides from the GEP/SBS software meeting wiki page.

On the last slide I jotted down a few notes about our key discussion topics and action items while they were still fresh in my memory. Let me know if I forgot anything important!

Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: Dedicated discussion on GEP trigger logic at tomorrow's software meeting?

Hello all,

I think I have included all the key people involved in ECAL/HCAL/GEP trigger preparations here. Let me know if anyone else needs to be in the loop. Following up on Simona’s presentation on ECAL from last week, I would like to invite all of you of tomorrow’s software meeting (10:30 AM) to discuss the ongoing GEP trigger development on both the software/simulation side and the hardware/firmware side. The goal is to develop a common understanding of what we want the trigger logic to be and get on the same page with respect to the parallel efforts in firmware development and simulation/analysis. Please let me know if you are NOT available to attend tomorrow’s software meeting. I should note that next week’s software meeting will most likely be canceled due to the DNP, so if tomorrow doesn’t work, it will be two weeks before we have another software meeting.

Best regards,

Andrew
