Subject: [EXTERNAL] PPU weekly update


In the PPU rea, project metrics for March have been updated with cost and schedule metrics in good shape. In the superconducting RF area, cryomodule 30 (installed this outage) has been cooled down in the tunnel, and the last cryomodule return end can (except for the spare cryomodule) was shipped from the vendor to the partner lab JLab. In the RF area, equipment testing is on schedule. High power electrical equipment needed for the upcoming run has been tested at full duty factor, and klystron testing with the new low-level RF will start next week. In the Ring area the first two (of three) magnets to be installed in the long outage were crated for transport and loaded on trucks at our partner FNAL this week, for shipment to SNS. In the target area the final design review (FDR) was held for the hydrogen refill system. This represents the last PPU FDR.
