Here’s the PPU weekly update:



Proton Power Upgrade project: In the RF area one of the recently installed transmitter stations is being readied to be electrically energized for initial testing. The last cryomodule to be installed was moved to the front end of the linac and will be positioned in the tunnel soon. The final field mapping report for the new injection chicanes was received from FNAL this week. The lead pours for the last four molecular sieve beds used for filtering off gases in the target systems was done at the vendor this week. Also, a mercury overflow tank interference with a vent line in the target service bay was addressed. The rebar mats for the new RTBT stub floor were put in place this week. They had been assembled in parallel with earlier excavation activities. Initial concrete pouring is planned for next week.
