We are working to update the PPU project schedule with the modified FY23 outage sequence, with no issues identified to date. In the Superconducting RF area, we completed the work planning for shipping and receiving the first cryomodule
next week from our partner JLab. Also, the second cryomodule fabrication is nearing completion and the cavity string for cryomodule 5 is being assembled. In the RF area the initial circulators are undergoing factory acceptance testing at the vendor. Also,
a traffic accident occurred while returning SNS material from the modulator vendor that was used during the vendor testing. We expect to receive and inspect this material today. In the ring area, a kickoff meeting was held with the vendor fabricating the new
chicane core assemblies. In the target area cryogenic catalyst material was received at ORNL, and the mercury overflow tank procurement was awarded. In the installation area, planning was done to prioritize work needed to cooldown and operate the first 2 new
cryomodules scheduled for installation this summer.
