In the superconducting area, 6 cavities did not meet spec and JLab has begun chemical processing these. We have been fortunate to have a high fraction pass without needing this process. In the RF area, the first upgraded DTL 3 MW klystron
unit was shipped from the vendor this week. Also, the superconducting RF load vendor visited SNS and successfully applied an upgraded RF seal to the units. In the Ring area, we visited the partner lab FNAL late last week to observe the initial winding of
a test coil, which went well. In the target area, bids were received for the new molecular sieve beds. In the conventional facility area, the 50% complete drawing package was received for the STS requested modification to the RTBT stub.

I started sending out these weekly updates 2 years ago when the pandemic hit and we were suddenly dispersed. Now most of us are back on campus, and more importantly this information is also distributed in the NScD weekly update verbatim.
So, I’ll save you redundant information and this will be the last stand-alone PPU update. You can always checkout Ken’s NScD update to see this information.
