<p class="x_MsoNormal">Preparations are underway for the July ORNL project earned value system review, for which PPU is being used as an example. In the superconducting RF area, the second cryomodule received from our partner JLab is in the test cave, ready
for the cooldown planned to start this weekend. High power tests are scheduled for next week. In the RF area the new RFQ/DTL modulator resumed testing and the circulator testing concluded this week, with the first unit providing sufficient performance to meet
PPU needs. In the ring area we visited the partner FNAL to witness the winding of the second (of 3) layers for the first chicane magnet. In the target area we visited the mercury overflow tank vendor and are working to have this tank installed in the FY 23A
outage (prior to the long outage). Klystron gallery installation progress continues with the second (of 3) new high voltage modulator enclosures staged for installation.
