That is based on the cut to keep DIS electrons of x>0.35

Quite right! After another discussion with Zhiwen earlier today, I realized this study read in the background for kryptonic baffle. Zhiwen and I are working on the lead baffle background now.

Thanks to Zhiwen to update the EC background with the "MORE1" baffle. Thereafter, the EC performance was simulated again as the fifth update on the PVDIS EC:

In short, significant improvement in performance was observed. However, background is still strong for the inner radius region within the high-radiation azimuthal sectors, which is now dominated by photons. Downstream study from Zhiwen would quantify the new total trigger rate.
