[Solid_ec] SoLID EC meeting at 10am Tuesday

Dear All,

 

I received the updated background calculation from Zhiwen on Sunday. Since
then I have been rerunning all the background imbedding again. Somewhat
higher background is observed compared to the last update. And their impact
to PID is still being evaluated.

 

Part of the results are being updated in place for the PVDIS simulation
slides, section "Third update of CLEO background"

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to call in to the calorimeter
meeting due to an on-going workshop. I will try to put together the
simulation part of the collaboration meeting slides for Xiaochao today, and
go through the slides with her tomorrow as planned.
