[Solid_ec] PMT options from Electron Tube Inc.

Dear All:
I have approached Electron Tubes Inc. for more PMT options. They recommended 9125B for Shower and 9142B for PS/SPD. Even though the originally quoted price is in the $400 and the $500 level respectively, they agreed to match the Hamamatsu price: 9125B=$240 and 9142B=$300, for single piece purchases. They might even try to match the volume price of Hamamatsu.
Now I can use some help in selecting their HV dividers. Attached you can find the datasheet for the C637 series (single $110, volume $75). I am not sure which resistance ratio we should choose, and the value of the resistor. If anyone knows how to select those please reply to this email. The requirement on gain, linearity etc are as follows:
1) typical gain in the range of a few times 1E5, and need to cover 1-2 orders of magnitude both above and below.
2) +/-2% linearity up to 2 or 5mA
3) The CAEN HV supply we have looked into are rated for 3mA outputs.
They also offer a Cockcroft Walton and FET active power base for the 9125B (Shower), type HV3020CN and HV3020AN. Data sheets attached. "Unit price is $340 each and volume price would not fall much below $250
each." Please take a look if interested.
