Hi Xiaochao,


1), Jin's plot in the pCDR has the log-scale on the x-axis. I plotted 
the same scale and see smooth curves as his.

2), I am still not very clear what method Jin used and what 
approximations he applied in the study (I haven't have time to talk with 
him.). Besides, I haven't included the backward scattering background 
yet (working on it now). One question is that,  should I consider the 
backward scattering particles that are generated by the same pi0-photon? 
After a pi0-photon passes through the SPD, it goes into the EC and 
generates a lot of scattering particles, then a 30ns or 50ns window 
opens up. Within this time, these scattering particles that can go 
backward and leave signals in the SPD may still can pile-up the 
background noise.
