hi, Xiaochao
Nice summary and I certainly don't have an understanding of all details yet.
just notice a few things.
1. if edge is 6.25cm for one hexagon module, , the area would be
6.25^2*3*sqrt(3)/2=101.5cm2, a bit larger than 100cm2
2. I suppose the paper will be on both side of scint layer, so two
0.12mm paper will be total 0.24mm. In simulation, we used two 0.12mm
mylar for this
3. I recall ANL drawing shows 4 rods in one module. If we would do 6
rods, it should help the structure, but as it takes more and more area
and we should include this kind of dead area into simulation eventually.
4. we should identify and use the correct scintlator type in simulation
to match the real thing, if it may not make big difference when counting
energy deposition dominated by ionization though.
5. If we assume the preshower lead is a few big sheet and supported
separately, the preshower scintlator and front Al support may need to be
consider with shower together.

The module structure is attached in a separate PDF file. (For some reason I could not import the image into WORD without distorting it.)
