Dear All:

We will have our SoLID EC/DAQ meeting at 9:30am US EST on Thursday 9/1/2016. The location at JLab is CC F227. 

We will focus on updates from the Chinese groups. Hope to hear reports from both SDU and THU on their module assembly and testing. We will then discuss preparation work (if any) for the beam test.

Prof. Wang Yi and Chendi:  It will be great if you can prepare a summary slide on the module(s) you have assembled so far, with details presented in a table, such as type of the WLS fiber, reflective layer, scintillator, and lead layers.  In fact, I think it might be helpful if we can have at least one preliminary light yield measurement of THU's module before shipping them to the US. Do you think you can setup a cosmic ray test similar to SDU's?  (See Ye Tian's reports on the meeting minutes).  Alternatively, you could consider shipping or bringing the modules to SDU and let Ye test the module using his setup. (It takes the high-speed train 4-5 hours to go from Beijing to Jinan, so one could just carry the module and board the train). Is that possible?
