[Solid_software] conversion from svn to github and "solid_release"

I find this incredibly confusing. There are three versions of the container but no clear explanation as to what the differences are. The commands in lines 4 through 7, are they useful for users to know? If so, for what? The writeup sort of interleaves ifarm and not ifarm and “pre-installed solid_gemc” and “official solid_gemc” (what’s the difference?) and “your solid_gemc”. I think it’d be a lot better to organize this by the most important use cases, e.g. running batch production on ifarm, running solid_gemc development offsite, and so on, and then giving separate, non-interleaved instructions for each of those use cases. Maybe put these instructions on a web page or in a PDF where typography, color, and diagrams can make things clearer rather than just a single monospaced text file which is very hard to read.

The conversion from solid svn to github is done and the svn is frozen as read only.
The code is at
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_JeffersonLab_solid-5Fgemc&d=DwIGaQ&c=lz9TcOasaINaaC3U7FbMev2lsutwpI4--09aP8Lu18s&r=Ba71hz5BQwnq7JfVaKiabFpGuh57flAYxNkJpt-CWy8&m=_GreydqSHzwcATtLNFi5X5RozcX4CJy8WrWOKgZlTB0&s=SOANsD2XYjHMdmJ42hRLtxgdfMrCyRciM7ydvfK68Bs&e=
It was wrapped in inside container which should be standard release method.

Give it a try on ifarm

The conversion of various generators from svn to github is still under work
Please let me know any comment
Thanks
