ATTENTION: DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR A.I. FOR NUCLEAR PHYSICS WORKSHOP
TRAVEL GRANT TO FRIDAY, FEB. 14, 2020
The deadline to apply for the A.I. for Nuclear Physics Workshop travel
grant has been _extended to FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2020_. Please see
attached and below for more details.
The Southeastern Universities Research Association and Jefferson Lab are
pleased to announce they are offering up to _25_ travel grants up to
$1,500* to attend the A.I. for Nuclear Physics Workshop and pre-meeting
activities March 3-6, 2020 at Jefferson Lab in Newport News, VA. The
Workshop is sponsored by the US Department of Energy and the travel
grants by the National Science Foundation. Information about the

Eligibility:
**
Students (graduate and undergraduate) Postdoctoral fellows
Early-career faculty (within ten years of earning the PhD or equivalent
degree)
There is no limitation on the applicant’s professional specialty
(physicists, computer scientists, computer engineers, mathematicians,
and data scientists are particularly encouraged to apply).

1)*Applicant’s statement *(_one page max!_) indicating background,
interest in AI, and how conference participation will benefit
applicant’scareer.
2)*Biographical sketch *(_two pages max!_) for applicant that must be in
