You are invited to participate in the JLab A.I. Town Hall and A.I.
Hackathon events July 26th and 27th. The events will take place online
and are open to all Jefferson Lab Users and Staff.
The A.I. Town Hall will take place on the afternoon of Monday July
26th starting at 2pm EST and will consist of a series of lightning talks
giving overviews of AI/ML projects related to the JLab Science program.
This would include activities connected to future JLab experiments and
the EIC. If you have a relevant project, please send the title and a 1-2
line description along with a list of names of people involved in it to
David Lawrence (davidl at jlab.org <mailto:davidl at jlab.org>).
The A.I. Hackathon will take place on Tuesday July 27th and will be an
all day event. This will be a series of AI/ML challenges ranging from
beginner to advanced. Participants will work in Teams (or alone if they
prefer) and solutions will be judged quantitatively with a live,
updating scoreboard. This will be a fun event to help you develop skills
if you're a newbie or advance them you if you're experienced. The event
is open to all JLab Users and Staff.
Information on the events can be found at the website:
