[Svt-eic-speakers] Some instructions for your write-up

Some more instructions:

Your latex file should begin with a \section{....}. Do not include any header information such as \documentclass{....} or \begin{document}, \title{}, etc.. These are already included for the overall document in the main.tex file. Your \input file to main.tex should only have the sequence shown in previous email (with Doe/Doe replaced by your name).

Do not use the Template folder for anything. It served its original purpose and will be deleted.

If you log into the overleaf, you will see that I already generated for each folder the corresponding name.tex file. You just need to upload your material into that file.

I hope that helps,
Volker

Subject: Some instructions

Dear all,

 There have been some questions about how to best include files into the overleaf latex so you can see how your contribution looks together with the rest.

If you are just starting now, here is a way to do this:

1) Click on the folder with your name, e.g. Doe. Then create another file by clicking on the left icon at the top of the window, and create a file the name Doe.tex. You then upload everything, i.e. latex file, figures, reference, ... into that file.

2) If you want to test compiling your latex file, put an \input into the main.tex file. The main.tex contains sequences like thisome S :

 %
\input{Template/template}
\clearpage
\newpage
\setcounter{section}{0}
\makeatother
%

Add this sequence at the end, then compile.

%
\input{Doe/Doe}
\clearpage
\newpage
\setcounter{section}{0}
\makeatother
%

Good luck!
Volker
