[Swreq] Request for EPICS StreamDevice Support

I have a device that needs an RS232 interface to EPICS.  The interface 
only has a few commands, please see attached.  I designed the interface 
to be readily used for the StreamDevice protocol. I can probably write 
the protocol file if needed.

The device gives 4 readings, I need to get them & put on strip tool.  I 
need it polled at 1 sec intervals.  I have support for several ways to 
get readings. I can add/change easily if needed.

The only "special" thing I would like is the ability to enter manual 
commands from the EDM screen.
