Mark,
What kind of time frame does this have? Does it have to be complete for hot checkout (Sept. 16th),
commissioning (early November), or beyond?
Thanks,
Pam Kjeldsen

Subject: [Swreq] YA magnet regulator EPICS Software Support
To whom it may concern:
The new Ya magnet regulator system is in the process of being of
constructed and bench tested at this time. Individual analog systems
components and local FPGA controller are getting very close that this
final design can be put together and tested as a system. We will need to
interface this FPGA controller system to the EPICS software for remote
control and monitoring of this system. The final development and testing
of this system will take place in BLDG # 36 in the DC Power Test stands.
I have discussed this project with Gary Croke numerous times while he
was working on the new SCE 20 amp trim PS software in BLDG #36. The Epic
screens and controls should be very similar to what was developed for
the New Trim PS. The controls and screen for this system will eventually
be used to operate the YA magnet control systems in the W2 service building.
Thanks Mark Augustine
