Meeting summary Aug. 5th, 2021:

* Brannon
- see slides under "Aug. 5th CPS meeting link"
- double checked TSA from Marie and shows BTSA
small difference total integrated over theta and 90° BTSA, where more TCS. larger difference integrated vs 45° where more BH. Positive for being able to extract something. Harmonic structure strongly depends on xi and t: importance of the binning. Brannon suggests less bins than for TSA to gain some statistics and found this to be feasible (used beam dilution factor 85% and target 27%)
- Marie's comment: taking ratio of total asymmetry over BH one to redifine observables?
- Whether to include BTSA on proposal: wait until we have Brannon's report, new chapter if confident, appendix at the end if less confident, or run group proposal. Will decide once TSA is done. Risk with PAC that they find measurements too difficult, to balance with strong physics interest

* Vardan
- tracking by regression found minor improvement with backtracking in magnetic field
- systematic errors in track reconstruction mostly near edges of detector 3-4 mrad error. Don't know yet what impact if cutting edges of detectors in reconstruction

* Next meeting: Aug. 12th if people update by next Wednesday otherwise Aug. 19th 9 AM

We will have our regular TCS meeting tomorrow at 9 AM.
I am anticipating a short meeting. We will have at least a discussion on Brannon's results and he will update us on TSA+BTSA analysis.
