I wanted to add that TDIS alone didn't cause the change that jeopardy time increase requests must come back to the PAC now. It was an issue brought to the fore because most all of the jeopardy experiments coming back requested substantially more beam time.
There was a feeling that this wasn't fair to the jeopardy experiments as they weren't given the same level of review to access this, and also not fair to proposing experiments if this path is viewed as a back door to beam time. The philosophy of how to handle
this was discussed, and the new policy will now be put in place. While I don't like it for TDIS, I do think it's best for the overall lab program.

Dear All,
The TDIS run-group has passed the jeopardy review and remains a C1
conditionally approved experiment. Congratulations and many thanks to
all.
We did not get the extra beam time or a better grade and may have
broken the bank along the way- no more extra time through jeopardy
review for anybody in the future.

Starting next week we will focus anew on the next steps to get the C1
condition removed and move forward.

Cheers
