[Testlablcwusers] LCW Supply Temperature IS Fluctuating Now

Howdy,

We plan to energize MOLLER TM1 at Test Lab now. However, we notice that the LCW supply temperature is fluctuating about +-1.5 deg C. IS someone using the LCW now and dump it into the system to cause a fluctuating temperature?

Please let us know ASAP.

Thanks a lot

Eric Sun

Howdy,

My previous email was inaccurate.

We will not ramp our TM3 magnet up to 4000 A. We will ramp it to 3370 A operating current. The heat that will be dumped into the LCW system will be about 110 kW. The required flow rate of LCW is 23 gallons per minute.

Thanks

Eric

Howdy,

We plan to continue the power-up test of MOLLER TM3 magnet at the Test Lab from morning (10:30 AM) 10/14/2025 to 10/17/2025. The testing will be on and off. We will test the magnet up to 4000 A. The maximum power consumption of the magnet is 138 kW. The required flow rate of LCW is 23 gallons per minute.

If you have any concerns, please contact me ASAP.

Many thanks for the attention.

Cheers

Eric
