Dear Mike,
Thank you for your insights. I agree with the proposed dates regarding lab status — this certainly helps us plan more effectively moving forward.
It would be helpful if you could provide an estimate of the LCW volume you anticipate needing (dP and return pressure, temp), leaving some headroom in the planning that will allow us to better organize and determine the available capacity, and assess whether we can manage without impacting the cryomodule test schedule.
Eric – In the meantime, may I request you to please determine the amount of LCW you will require per hour (I understand this is primarily for filling TM#4), along with the relevant process parameters such as pressure differential, return pressure, etc.? Also, please confirm that you plan to use a pump for the hydrotest after filling up with LCW independently.
Dave K – As we discussed earlier, could you please assist Eric in ensuring that before any LCW is drawn for the hydrotest, we coordinate and verify all process parameters with Mike? This should be done prior to opening the valve in the Moller test lab for both powering up and hydrotesting TM#4.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Regards
Probir

Hi Eric,
Much depends on what the furlough date is. If it remains 11/14, then we would start warming up the cryomodule tomorrow. If the furlough start is extended until the end of the month, then we would continue testing through next week with a warm up starting around the 14th give or take a couple of days.

Hi Mike,
It is great to know you are usually running from 9AM - 10PM weekdays. Could you let know us your exact running dates so that we can coordinate our work with yours?
We plan to perform hydrostatic pressure test of our MOLLER TM4 on 11/10. Can we use the LCW from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM to fill our TM4 with water? After 8:45 AM, we don't need to use LCW anymore.
Please let us know.
Many thanks
Eric

We are usually running from 9AM - 10PM weekdays. We have a week to a week and a half of testing to do.

Hello Eric,
I cannot see who is on the "testlablcwusers at jlab.org"<mailto:testlablcwusers at jlab.org> mail list. But we need to add Mike Drury and Mike McCaughan if they are not.
There is currently a CEBAF cryomodule in the test cave being tested. I cannot comment when it will be completed, nor the typical daily hours they are running the high power supply that may (most likely) is affecting the water temp.
The following statement has been communicated to us: "CMTF / VTA have priority per lab management in event of conflicts. We are the long poles in the tent to maintain the CEBAF start-up schedule, which was communicated to them in their work planning document. Doug Higinbotham can mediate for the SAM planning committee in the event this becomes an issue."
Hopefully between you and Mike and Mike, you can work something out as far as timing.
Phil

Howdy,
We will ramp our MOLLER TM1 magnet up to 2453 A this week starting from now. We will ramp it to 2230 A operating current first. The heat that will be dumped into the LCW system is about 90 kW. The required flow rate of LCW is 10 gallons per minute.
Thanks a lot for attention.
