Dear all,
Just a reminder that we have a seminar at 3pm in L102/4 this afternoon
(Monday):
**NOTE CHANGE OF TIME FOR SEMINAR ON MONDAY**
----------
Monday Nov 30th
*3pm*
L102/4
*Recent progress on two-boson exchange effects in electron scattering*
Peter Blunden (University of Manitoba, Canada)
This talk will be a review of recent work by our group and others on
the role of two-boson exchange in elastic electron-nucleon scattering,
focusing in particular on hadronic frameworks suitable for describing
data at low and moderate Q2. This will include the effects of
two-photon exchange (TPE) on elastic form factors, and the interference
of TPE and gamma-Z exchange on parity-violating form factors.
----------
Also this week we have a cake seminar on Wednesday:
Wednesday Dec 2nd
3pm
L102/4
*Estimate of Two-Photon Exchange in Elastic Electron-Proton Scattering:
QCD factorisation approach*
Nikolai Kivel (Bochum U. & Petersburg NPI)
Cake Sponsor: Christian
We estimate the TPE exchange contribution to elastic electron-proton
scattering at large momentum transfer Q2 using QCD factorisation approach.
Using several models for the nucleon distribution amplitudes, we provide
estimates for existing data and ongoing experiments.

seminars are available from:
