TODAY at 1pm, Room F224-225, there will be the first of the interviews for the Assistant Professor position at Penn State University Berks. The interview will be conducted at PSU and will be broadcasted to JLab.

Alexei Prokudin will give a talk entitled

"Nucleon Structure and Modern Nuclear Physics"

Abstract: Modern nuclear particle physics attempts to answer a series of the most fundamental questions about nature.
In my talk I will give an overview of topics related to experimental and theoretical exploration of the structure of the nucleon.
In particular I will speak about its three-dimensional structure and the central role of correlations of spin and transverse momentum
in describing the nucleon as a dynamical system in terms of partons: quarks and gluons.

Time: 1pm-2pm Wed. March 25th
