Title: Precise extraction of TMDs
Abstract: Jefferson Lab 12 will open a new era in precision phenomenology
of Transverse Momentum Dependent Parton Distributions functions (TMDs). It will warrant the most precise
perturbative and non-perturbative calculation of observables from inclusive and semi-inclusive deep
inelastic scattering reactions. I will report on the resent progress in extraction of TMDs at
next-to-next-to-leading-logarithmic (NLL) accuracy. This accuracy is similar to next-to-leading-order (NLO)
accuracy of extraction of collinear distributions. As an example I will
speak about NLL extraction of the transversity distribution which is the
source of the tensor charge of the nucleon.
