Title: Hadron Spectroscopy and QCD

Abstract: I will discuss the progress made in understanding the excited 
spectrum of hadrons within QCD using lattice methods. Particular 
emphasis is placed on the role of gluonic excitations in the spectrum, 
and on recent advances in determining properties of excited mesons as 
unstable resonances, decaying into meson-meson pairs.
