Abstract:
We review the tensorial formulation of spin models and lattice gauge theories and algorithmic aspects of their coarse graining. We show that this reformulation fits the needs for analog or digital quantum computations. We discuss concrete proposals for the Abelian Higgs model  and other simple examples in 1+1 dimensions.
