Wei Sum (JLab), "Glueball spectrum from lattice QCD study"

Abstract:

The non-Abelian nature of QCD indicates the existence of self-interaction among gluons, which suggests the prediction of bound sates mainly composed of gluons, namely glueball state. Glueball relevant studies have lasted for decades and are challenging both from experimental and theoretical point of view. There are plenty of research on pure gauge glueballs from quenched lattice QCD while much fewer results from dynamical fermion.

In this talk, I'll show our recent study of scalar, pseudoscalar and tensor glueball spectrum through N_f=2 anisotropic lattice with clover fermion, for the pseudoscalar channel.I'll also compare results from glueball operator and topological charge density operator, which shows an interesting pattern.
