Adam J Freese (Argonne National Lab), ``The Energy Momentum Tensor of the Proton from Generalized Parton Distribution''

Abstract
The distribution and decomposition of mass and angular momentum in the proton are pertinent topics in modern hadron physics, and are encoded in the proton's energy momentum tensor (EMT). The EMT can be accessed through Mellin moments of generalized parton distributions (GPDs), which in turn can be experimentally explored through hard exclusive reactions. This talk will present the formalism of GPDs and their relationship to the EMT, as well as results for both calculated in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of quantum chromodynamics.
