Dear all,

Here is a reminder of next week's theory seminar:

*Theory seminar*
Monday September 21, 1:00 PM

*William Jay* (Fermilab) will talk about "Quantifying Theoretical
Uncertainty: Bayesian Model Averaging".

*Abstract:*
Statistical modeling plays a key role in connecting theoretical predictions
to experimental and simulation data. In my talk, I will discuss and show
examples of Bayesian model averaging, a way to account for uncertainty due
to model variations. The methods I describe are general and could be useful
for the lattice QCD calculations done at Jefferson Lab.
