Dear all,

Next Monday, April 26th at *9:00 AM*, Simone Bacchio will give a theory
seminar on https://bluejeans.com/801786278
<https://www.google.com/url?q=https://bluejeans.com/801786278/5878?src%3DcalendarLink&sa=D&source=calendar&usd=2&usg=AOvVaw25sgt91GOrFua-h6qKqY9J>,
see below for details. *Please note the unusual time.*

We have had quite a lot of seminar attendance lately, which is very nice,
especially in these remote times! Partly, there are also external
attendees, so we are now kindly asking everyone to *provide their first AND
last name when logging on to the meeting*. Most of us already did so, which
is helpful for everyone to know who they are speaking to.

*Theory seminar*
Monday, April 26th, *9:00 AM*

*Simone Bacchio* (The Cyprus Institute) will talk about "Precision results
from Lattice QCD directly at the physical point".

*Abstract:*
We present results on key nucleon structure observables from Lattice QCD
computed using gauge ensembles simulated directly at the physical pion mass.
We use the twisted mass fermion action that provides an attractive
formulation for lattice QCD allowing for automatic O(a)-improvement. This
is an important property since quantities of interest have lattice
artifacts of O(a^2) and are thus closer to the continuum limit.
The main focus of the talk is the progress achieved that enables the
simulation and computation of observables directly at the physical point.
Have a good weekend and see you at the seminar!
Astrid, Christos and Filippo
