*Theory seminar*
Monday, May 3rd, *9:00 AM*

*Sang-Ho Kim* (Pukyong National University) will talk about "Photo- and
electro-production of J^P =1/2^- hyperons and of φ(1020) and J/ψ(3097)
mesons".

*Abstract:*
First, we investigate the photoproduction of Λ*(1405) and Σ*(1400) hyperons
off the proton with an effective Lagrangian approach and compare our
results with the CLAS data. The role of the N*(1895) exchange in the
s-channel is emphasized.
Second, we study the photo- and electro-production of φ(1020) and J/ψ(3097)
mesons.
We show our results of the cross sections and spin-density matrix elements
and explain how the Pomeron- and various meson-exchanges come into play in
describing the experimental data.
