As some of you may know, REYES created a research-based mentoring program for students from across the world. This is similar to the REU and SULI programs, except it is virtual and has no restrictions on who may participate.

I am sharing the announcement I have sent to possible mentors below. If you, your colleagues at your home institutions, or collaborators may be interested in serving as a mentor, you can sign up below.

I am also available to answer whatever questions you may have.

Dear Colleagues,

We are very happy to announce that we are starting planning the REYES 2022 program [ June 27-August 19]. This year, we will primarily focus on connecting aspiring scientists with scientific mentors.

If you are receiving this email is because you either served as a mentored last year, expressed interest, or we have identified you as a potential mentor.

This program is free to all interested parties from around the world. Last year, we have about 300 mentees from all continents and 30 mentors. The mentors can guide students through a research project, literature review, or virtual job shadowing.
