Hello All,

This coming Monday, August 1st at 1 PM (EDT), Laura Marcucci will give our next hybrid theory seminar. If you will be on-site and are comfortable doing so, please join us in room F224-F225 of CEBAF Center. Otherwise, Laura's seminar will also be provided virtually on our usual ZoomGov link:

Please see below for the title and abstract of Laura's talk.

Theory Seminar
Monday, August 1st at 1:00 PM

Laura Marcucci (University of Pisa and INFN - Pisa)
will discuss "Recent progress in ab-initio studies of light nuclei and few-nucleon reactions"

Abstract:
When can a theoretical study be called a "microscopic ab-initio calculation?" What are the essential ingredients of such a calculation? In this talk, I will try to answer these questions. Then I will review some recent progress in ab-initio studies of few-nucleon systems, focusing on nuclear reactions of interest for astrophysics.

Have a pleasant weekend!
Caroline, Colin & Patrick
