Title: Solar Neutrinos and their Oscillations

Abstract: The progression from an anomalous counting rate in the Homestake detector to the discovery of neutrino mass and mixing is one of the most extraordinary physics stories of the last 50 years.  I will summarize this history and comment on a couple of unresolved questions affecting our understanding of the formation of our best known star and of the neutrinos it produces.
