Adnan Bashir (IFM-UMSNH)
will discuss "From the Structure of Hadrons to the Muon Anomalous Magnetic Moment"

Abstract:
The Standard Model of Particle Physics has stood firm against more than half a century of experimental barrage of challenges successfully. The precision calculations and measurements are now reaching unprecedented levels. For example, anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is an observable which is capable of zooming into the very limits of the Standard Model and perhaps offer a window to new physics in future. I will review progress in this direction and discuss some hadronic light by light scattering contributions of pseudoscalar mesons to it within Continuum QCD.
