Dear all,
On Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 at 1pm EST, we will have a cake seminar given by M Gabriel Santiago of CNF in CC F224-225. Please see below for the title and abstract.
Cake Seminar: Wednesday, February 21st, 1pm EST
Speaker: M Gabriel Santiago (CNF)
Title: TMDs at small-x
Abstract: I present the small-x asymptotics of the leading-twist quark Transverse Momentum Dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs). I apply the recently developed Light Cone Operator Treatment (LCOT) to rewrite the TMD operator definitions at small-x in terms of polarized dipole amplitudes, then construct and solve small-x evolution equations for the dipole amplitudes in the large-Nc, linearized, Double Logarithmic Approximation (DLA). Together with the previous work applying the LCOT to TMDs and the known small-x behavior of the unpolarized quark TMD, we have now obtained the small-x asymptotics for all eight leading-twist quark TMDs in both the flavor singlet and flavor non-singlet sectors.
See you on Wednesday.
Best regards,
Caroline, Joe, and Zheng-Yang
