Title: Systematic uncertainties in TMD extractions from experimental data


Abstract: In this seminar, I present some examples of possible systematic theory uncertainties (and issues) that occurs in the extraction of Transverse-Momentum-Dependent (TMD) partonic distributions through global analyses of presently available experimental data of Drell-Yan and Semi-Inclusive DIS processes. In particular, I review the features of the latest extraction of unpolarized quark TMDs in the proton by the MAP Collaboration, and I discuss the impact on the extracted TMDs of modifications in some of its settings.
