Theory Seminar: April 14th, 1pm EDT (virtual)
Speaker: Yuxun Guo (LBNL)
Title: Spinning gluon for nulceon tomography and long-Range correlations at RHIC, LHC and EIC
Abstract: In this talk, I will talk about how the spinning gluon can help us understand the nucleon properties such as their mass and spin that emerge from partons and the underlying interactions between. I will discuss how the effects of spinning gluon can be studied with exclusive and/or diffractive processes, offering us opportunities to access the higher-dimensional structure of the nucleons. Additionally, I will discuss some recent developments with nucleon energy-energy correlators, that provide a new perspective on the two particle correlations in both DIS and pp collisions that are a crucial part of the RHIC, LHC and future EIC program.
See you on Monday.
Best regards,
Joe, Zheng-Yang, Gloria and Adam
