[Theory-seminars] Cake Seminar signups

Hey yall,

It's come to my attention that the google drive file for the cake seminars, still owned by Colin Egerer (!), can't be edited anymore. I will pretend this recent change is the reason why so few have signed up for this semester.

We need your help to create our weekly excuse to eat cake, so please sign up at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13BcDjW6t82WVMKqzP5Fw76xLJZ1wakQLy8yfJnb7xoE/edit?usp=sharing.

If you are a younger person who might feel nervous giving a full hour seminar, please consider pairing up with others to give two 30 min or three 20 min presentations. It will be good practice for conference/workshop length talks.

Thanks,
Adam, Joe, and Pia

Subject: Cake Seminar signups

Hey yall,

We are planning our Fall semester seminars, so I am going to ask you all again to sign up to give Cake seminars. We have a couple of speakers next month, but we will begin our regular schedule mid August. We all love taking a break and hearing what our colleagues are doing, but this requires your participation. This past semester we had a distinct lack of volunteers and weren't able to fill up the slots.

Please take a look at the calendar https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q6j7MuNEyyOLYNIPRWCxabcU4sHRiR2XMASFOdzLHxM/edit?usp=sharing

Please sign up yourself for a slot and/or coerce the people working with you to sign up. We need your help if we are going to have our weekly excuse to eat cake!

Thanks!
Adam, Joe, Pia
