Cake Seminar: Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at 1pm EST
Speaker: Nobuo Sato (Jlab)
Title: Strangeness in the Proton from W+charm Production and SIDIS Data
Abstract: In this talk, I will present recent work by the JAM (PDF Analysis Group) on unpolarized parton distribution functions in the proton. This includes results from W+charm production in pp collisions at the LHC and SIDIS data from low energies, which provide direct sensitivity to nucleon strangeness. The talk is based on https://arxiv.org/pdf/2501.00665.
See you on Wednesday.
Best regards,
Joe, Zheng-Yang & Gloria
