Hi everyone,

Wayne reached out to me with further elaboration on some of the questions that were asked during his seminar yesterday. I'm forwarding his email to the mailing list.

Kind regards,
Adam

Dear Adam:

Thanks again for the invitation.

Comments on miscellaneous questions that came up if anyone is interested:

1) For breakdown of locality in quantum gravity

See E. T. Tomboulis: JEHP 06(2021)77; arXiv:2104.04098v2 [hep-th]

2) Green's functions can be exactly expanded in this basis; the exact
expansion will be causal, so causality should be recovered in the infinite
volume fine resolution limit.

The computational method needed to expand the Green's function is in:
Fatih Bulut and W. N. Polyzou, Wavelet Methods in the Relativistic
Three-Body Problem, Phys. Rev. C73,e024003(2006),
nucl-th/0507051

3) The book Quantum Mechanics, Symbolism of Atomic Measurements has a
beautiful description of a discrete version of the Weyl commutation
relations. His decomposition of general finite systems into factors
with prime numbers of degrees of freedom has a connection with quantum
computing - specifically P=2 gives an irreducible set of qubit gates.

I cover the transition to qubits in the reference: W. N. Polyzou, Path
integrals and the discrete Weyl representation, J. Phys. A:
Math. Theor. 57 (2024) 275201 (44pp), arxiv:2108.12494.

4) The light front case I discuss a representation where rotations about the z axis are treated continuously in W. N. Polyzou, Wavelet representation of light-front quantum field theory, Phys. Rev. D 101,064001(2020), arxiv:abs/2002.02311.
