PDFs are used to relate hadron degrees of
freedom and parton degrees of freedom and by definition cannot be
calculated in perturbation theory. In recent years, there have been
many proposals of how to extract PDFs from lattice calculable matrix
elements. The pseudo-PDF method matrix elements of space-like separated fields.
Analogous to phenomenological PDF extraction from experimental cross
sections, these matrix elements can be factorized into hard partonic
parts and PDFs. I will show a lattice calculation of these matrix
elements and the methods being developed to extract the PDF from these
calculations.

Thank you.

-Carlota, Vincent & Raza
