Lattice QCD can provide first-principles structural information of resonant hadronic states. This type of calculations can also constrain Standard Model precision tests, like the muon g-2
or rare kaon decays. The finite volume nature of the lattice produces significant distortion to multi-hadronic observables, which have to be corrected with the Lellouch-Luescher (LL) factors. In this talk I will describe this technique when applied to the
timelike form factor of the pion. Furthermore, the coupled channel region, in this case of pion-pion/Kaon-Kaon, is also studied for the first time in a lattice calculation. This work provides an essential proof of principle, as most resonances decay to multiple
hadronic channels.
