We are excited to announce the 2026 Center for Nuclear Femtography (CNF) seminar series. The CNF is dedicated to imaging the detailed spatial structure of hadrons in terms of quarks and gluons-mapping the forces they exert on each other and uncovering how their
dynamics give rise to properties of matter such as mass and spin. This includes cutting-edge work on generalized parton distributions, hard exclusive processes, the energy-momentum tensor, and global analysis. To this end, our seminar series aims not only
to disseminate the work and ideas of preeminent researchers, but also to serve as an interactive forum for discussion, cross-fertilization, and the generation of new scientific ideas across theoretical, experimental, and phenomenological efforts to better
understand the femtography of matter.</div>

We are delighted to announce Peter Schweitzer from the University of Connecticut as our opening speaker. Peter will speak to us about pressure within the proton on February 10 at 2 pm Eastern Time. The presentation will take place in CC L102 at Jefferson Lab,

The matrix elements of the energy-momentum tensor (EMT) contain important information about the fundamental properties of a particle including its mass, spin, and D-term and are described in terms of EMT form factors. In the talk, I will present some insights
learned from my earliest and latest work on the EMT form factors of the nucleon. As a by-product, this will also shed some light on the existence of three-dimensional distributions and pressure in the nucleon.</div>
