[Tpe] TPE and PAC

Dear Folks,

I just thought I'd point out a key paragraph in the PAC34 report:

A flagship of the JLab program has been the measurement of fundamental
properties of the nucleon, such
as electromagnetic formfactors. These have been measured with two
different techniques: Rosenbluth
separation and polarization transfer. These have led to different
results. It is believed that a significant
contribution to this difference comes from two photon exchange
corrections that affect the Rosenbluth
method most. A key experiment "At Risk" is E07-005, which explores these
multi-photon exchange
contributions. It is likely that the possibly competing Olympus
experiment using the BLAST detector
proposed for DORIS at DESY will not run, and so the PAC would be
*dismayed* if this important check
was not completed in a timely fashion.
(emphasis added, LW)
